Scope of scheme

MCERTS for point analysers covers instrument systems that measure nitrogen monoxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulphur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O3), particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5), lead, cadmium, arsenic, nickel and mercury, benzene and polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Principal pollutants covered by open path systems include NO, NO2, SO2, CO, O3, ammonia, formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene and methane.
