USEPA 5A

USEPA method 5 - Determination of particulate emissions from stationary sources. Principle particulate matter is withdrawn isokinetically from the source and collected on a glass fibre filter maintained at temperature range of 120+-14oC or such other temperature as specified by an applicable subpart of the standard or approved by the administrator, US Environmental Protection Agency, for a particular application. The particulate mass, which includes any material that condenses at or above the filtration temperature, is determined gravimetrically after he removal of uncombined water. This Method is applicable for the determination of particulate emissions from stationary sources
