EN17255-4 Task Group
Developing an agreed UK approach to EN17255 Part 4.
This group represents regulators, process operators, test houses, instrument engineers, consultants, suppliers and developers of DAHS software and hardware, and CEMS suppliers and manufacturers involved in meeting the requirements of EN17255 Part 4.
The group aims to assist in developing an agreed approach to how and when this standard will be implemented in the UK. Key areas include:
- Agreed lines of responsibility
- Definition of a “Test Laboratory” in the UK in relation to EN17255
- Whether accreditation is required and the most appropriate ISO standard
- Whether regulators should create a Method Implementation Document or similar guidance
- Consistency across UK regulatory areas
- Best practice outside the UK
- Timescales for implementation
