BS EN 14385
specifies the use of 25% nitric acid for
rinsing glassware on site. In the UK 5%
nitric is commonly used. The STA are
currently seeking clarification from
the CEN working group responsible for the
standard. In the meantime the Environment
Agency will continue to accept the use of 5%
nitric acid. |
