Being part of a review is an excellent chance for
regulators/operators/trade associations to get their concerns across to Defra –
we would particularly like to visit any sites where industry has found
compliance difficult or costly (or both) or conversely, where there are examples
of innovative/best practice. Continuing Professional Development points are
available for anyone who attends a TWG.
Anyone interested in attending any of the TWGs in these sectors should emai on LAU@environment-agency.gov.uk with details of which notes they
would like to be involved with.

The review process includes issuing of TWG draft for
comment then followed by a final public comment phase. Documents for final
